FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
1. Q: I have received offensive SMS messages. Can you help me?A: Yes of course. You can use our blacklist service to block people from sending SMS to your mobile phone using hooya.com. You can take your number of the blacklist by following this link. 2. Q: My Siemens S10 malfunctions when i receive an SMS from your site. What is happening?A: The Siemens S10 does not have the capability to receive alphanumeric data as the sender´s header. This is a limitation of the phone´s software and not a result of our service. If this happens, your should be able to "fix" your mobile by removing your SIM card from the S10, inserting it into another GSM mobile phone, removing the message that has caused the problem, then inserting the SIM back into your S10. 3. Q: Does the person receiving the message have to pay?A: No. We do not charge receivers or senders. Though it is technically possible for a telecom service provider to charge receivers for incoming SMS, we are not aware of any company that does so. 4. Q: Which networks can I send to?A: Some networks/prefixes are not available. Check the list of networks to see which ones you can send to. If some prefixes are missing for that network, please let us know. If the network is not on the list, it means that hooya.com has no interconnect agreement with that network and therefore no messages can be sent to it. 5. Q: I'm having a problem with the site, what do I do?A: First check the requirements for using the site. If your browser meets the requirements, look at the other questions on the list. If your question is not answered here, contact us webmaster@hooya.com 6. Q: What do I need to use this site properly?A: Netscape 3.0 or MSIE 3.02 or a browser with the same support. If you don't know which browser/version you're using, look in the browser help menu. 7. Q: How do I find out about changes, updates and news?A: You can join our mailing list. We'll keep you up-to-date by sending out a brief announcement of changes made to the service. newsletter@hooya.com 8. Q: Can the person who received the message reply to the sender?A: Yes, the senders number is stated as the sender of the message. 9. Q: How do I buy more credits to my hooya.com account?A: To get more credits to your account press on ACCOUNT in the top menu. Then click on BUY CREDITS and follow the instruktions. |
